Bad Marble laying by Berge Construction

She has no idea on how to lay marble tiles. The job was so badly done with uneven spacing and they chiseled away at some of the tiles to make them the same height. Half of them were also chipped after laying. They never used a spirit level or proper marble tile adhesive which was two times the thickness of the tiles. The entire job/floor had to be removed and professionally re-done. We were warned not to pay a contractor 100% of the invoice upfront. I've learnt a very expensive lesson!!! When the tile supplier asked her if my job was completed to satisfaction she told them it was, which was a dishonest lie.
