Washing Machine Repair

Absolute horrific experience!

They came to pick up my washing machine on Tuesday 12 August as there was an issue and we wanted them to establish what they fault is.

Fast forward to Monday 18 August, I was yet to receive ANY form of communication from them. Just for some context, I have an 11 month old whose now worn all her clean clothes. I then took it into my hands to get a hold of them and establish what the situation is. I called all the numbers I could find online, only to have no one answer. In total, I made more than 30 phone calls.

Eventually, Dylan, the manager at the Durbanville branch somehow found out that I'm desperately trying to reach me so he got in touch with me.

It turns out there is an issue with the pump. Replacing the pump is an extremely simple task, which they quoted me R790 for labour. I told them to order the pump and deliver it with the machine and I'll do the installation myself.

More than a day later, the machine and pump was delivered, only to find out that they've ordered the wrong pump. Additionally, they removed attachments from our property (for the outlet pipe) that they did not return with the machine, and our machine still had some of the clothes in which I assume they used to run test cycles on the machine.

We stay in the same town as them and at roughly 14h on 19 August, I pleaded that they please bring the correct pump and the attachment which they kept as I desperately need to wash my little one's clothes.

They bluntly refuse to make a plan to get our situation sorted out and we keep getting told that it will take another day for the pump to be delivered. That makes it longer than a week for a medial task like replacing the pump.

Would not recommend anyone who appreciates good client service and competence to make use of Bergen's Durbanville.
