I hate getting **********

I Contacted Bergens Appliance Care, Rivonia 12th Avenue, who sent a technician out to see what was wrong with my Whirlpool Refrigerator. The so-called technician told me the Motherboard had to be replaced and they wanted R4689,32 upfront to buy the replacement, Double the price for the replacement part. When asked to see the Invioce for the part, I was told it was at the Main Branch Office. BIG MISTAKE. I could have brought a New fridge for that, I was stupid. It took them a week to find and replace the Motherboard, Then it began to freeze up. I complained, they took the fridge away for another week and brought it back, saying it was fixed. it wasn't, still freezing up. 3 times they took it away and bought the fridge back, saying "it was all fixed", it wasn't, still freezing up. Bergens gave-up, saying "there wasn't anymore they can do" but it was still freezing up. Fed up, So I called another reputable company, who told me, the Motherboard did not need to be replaced and only the Thermostat had to be replaced for R1240.00, Problem Solved.

This is supposed to be a reputable business, helping people who are not clued up with Refrigerator for example and seems all they have tried to do is rob us blind.

Disgusting service, and even worse management.

If I could give them a zero rating, I would do so.

Definitely do not recommend this company.
