Horrible servce and extremely over priced!!!

Yesterday I phone Bergen's Appliance Repairs & Spares Stubensvalley as my oven is not heating above a certain temperature. I gave them an explanation of what is happening and the model that I have. They said I need to pay for a call out and the person will assess the oven he might have the part with him. Else they generally have stock of the parts at the store. If the person leaves to fetch a part I will only pay for the part they need to install and I confirmed it again that I will only pay for the part that needs to be replaced.

The person arrived today not having the correct tools to check my oven. So I lent some of my tools to assist him on finding the problem. So 5 - 10 min costed me R525. He said he will go back to the store and get a price for me as my bottom element is broken. 3 hours later I phone no they still do not have a price for me. 4.5 hours I get an sms that the part bottom element will cost me R493.80. I could not believe the price. So I phoned around and found the part at Herches for R90 which I bought and fitter myself.

I will never use Bergen's Appliance Repairs & Spares again.
