Customers being ripped of by Bergens Appliances Strubensvalley

This is just to warn potential customers of Bergens Appliances Strubensvalley .They specialise in fixing household appliances. They charged me R 550 as a call out fee and supposedly an hours labour. I live about 2kms from them. Their service man came out and spent 15minutes at our place and said we needed a new plate for our stove. They would then get me a quote for the part. They did not revert to me and I had to phone them for the cost. I was sent a whatsapp with a cost of R 1783 for the part. I contacted the agents and the part costs R723 so Bergens marked up the part by about 120%. When i queried this with them they said that is what their supplier charged them and the added a small markup. I do not believ this as if I can get the part for R 723 why could they not do so? I belive that they are *********** the consumer out there so be wary when using them
