Bad service
My husband contacted Bergens Helderkruin regarding my Speed Queen washing machine that does not drain/spin letting the water out. All sound promising that they will pick up the machine, give a quote and then deliver the machine even if we do not accept the quote. Initially, my husband said it was a Whirlpool because he is not a user of the machine he does not know. Bergens collected the machine on the 9th of November. and notify him that it is a Speed Queen. A quote was given, with the advice Lune gave, it's not worth it repairing the machine, as the cost is +-R10200. My husband requested that the machine must be returned, which they did. When getting home after work, I confirmed its not my machine, and my husband contact Lune again and she admit that this was not the first time it happened. She will make sure that the correct machine will be delivered. They first collected the wrong machine, and then brought the so-called my machine. My husband confirmed it's my machine. Keep in mind my husband is not doing the washing. When getting back from work, I confirmed that it was not my machine. I'm using the machine for longer than 20 years, so I should know what my machine looks like. When I contacted Lune the next morning again confirming that it was not my machine, she was quite annoyed with the situation. I've described exactly what my machine looks like. She sent me pictures of all the machines they currently had for reparations, none of mine. She said I was more than welcome to come and have a look myself, but what would that help, they will only show me what she send in the pictures, no use for me to go there. We had a technician at our premises yesterday the 23rd, plugging in the machine. The so-called machine that is mine, doesn't even let water in, mine did, it only didn't spin the water out. Now I have a machine not working and is in a bad condition. On the job invoice, the visual damage was a small scratch. Please have a look at the pictures I've sent, to Lune, the machine I received has chips and scratches on it. This then doesn't correspond with the job invoice. The response I received this morning is that the fault does not correspond to the fault. Why does my machine suddenly don't water feed into my so-called machine, and have the cheek to ask me if the technician indicated why it's not taking water? My point is before taking my machine it did let water in. It also now said to me if I came, I could have pointed out which panels were mine, and because I have no proof that my machine is there, I did explain exactly my machine. Once again they use the excuse that if my husband indicated that it's not my machine it would be a different sorry, but as I previously said, he is not doing the washing. . Lune also mentioned that the complete body of the machine was never taken apart, how did they diagnose the problem? If they only removed the top, why all of a sudden my top is different, and once again why does the machine not let water in? Once again throwing the ball back in my court saying there was an opportunity to rectify the problem and I chose not to use it. Previously mentioned that the pictures whats app to me would have been the only machines they would show me. The job invoice indicated a small scratch, but if you have a look at the pictures, I received a machine in a terrible state, with chips, and scratches. I should have taken the advice of 2 of my colleagues that had a bad experience not to make use of them, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt Please stay away. I will never make use of Bergens again. I'm sure they will have the attitude they don't need my business, but people must know how they operate.
