Berader - Property Management with a twist

This is a warning to any Community Schemes that wish to terminate their contract with Berader Properties. Berader will refuse to accept termination by declaring the notice ******* or unprocedural irrespective of the terms of their contract, and will do so by sending an outrageously inflammatory email to the entire Body Corporate in which the Trustees are accused of all manner of nefarious deeds. NB!! Immediately upon receiving notice of termination, they will deduct THREE months fees from the BC bank account and hold the BC and their monies ransom for the following THREE months until such time as they see fit to handover to their successor. This in my opinion is the most unprofessional and ********* business practice I have yet to experience and is not only in contravention of the SSMA, it goes against the code of ethics as prescribed by the EAAB. The deduction of THREE months fees from the BC bank account in advance adversely affected the cash flow of the complex and technically constitutes theft. This happened at two Community Schemes where I own a property during the Covid lockdown when it was ripe for such opportunism to take place due to the unavailability of court intervention.
