Worst client service by Zama

Bequest brides, Northriding

Owned by Zama, changed prices of one dress after making 1st payment for 2 rented gowns in February 2024 my wedding was in December 2024, Zama gave a price higher than what her assistant gave and when i showed her proof from whattsap chats with her assistant she dismissed me and came with lame excuses that the stores charge different prices for same dress, i however made her aware that im going to review her services after my wedding, on the last 3rd fitting I was told i need to pay extra R800 per alterations, for ie length R800 and another R800 to alter sides per dress, i had no choice but to pay the extra charges after paying R23000 for both rented dresses,

As if that was all, according to her assistant and store rules a bride collects wedding dresse/s 7days before the the wedding day, But on the day that i was supposed to collect the dresses Zama sent me a text that the dresses are not ready because the dry clean had a back log due to peak season, and wrote to me that she will bring the dresses to my house the following day, I sent her our location and written address, the following day when we followed up on her promise on chats she did not respond to the chat until now, i had to ask my Sis in law to go to her shop to collect the dress, when she arrived Zama was no where to be found and my dresses where not ready, my SIL waited 6 hrs before they where ready, on my wedding day one the 1st dress was not well alterted and fixed according to how we had agreed with her assistants, i sent her videos to prove that, i could walk on the isle on my own because the bow kept falling, my **** of honor had to hold on to it until i reachec the alter, insidw the suite covers we found on srting of the 1st dress, we left the 1st dress back in my village because of space in the Car.

On my wedding day 2 the suite cover had no string for the dress, i had to cut a flag material that is normally put on gates to give indication that theres a white wedding to make a string for the dress, i could not wear the dress for morethan an honor it was uncomfortable because the alternative plan was not able to hold my ****s well they ended up hanging i sent Zama the proof of what we used as a string,

our date to return the dress was 6th Jan 2024, on the 6th we received a text from her assistant that all communication shoild be directed to Zama and that is no longer working at her shop, we waited to hear from zama , zama texted us on Tuesday 7th Jan to ask when are we bringing the dresses, my husband responded to her and told her we had an emergency and asked if we can send our neighbor to drop them at the menlyn shop, she agreed without any problem, however my husband managed to deliver the dresses, after dropping them she them asked if we have a pink slip, we then forwarded it to her on whattsap, she then said one string is missing, forgetting that we did not even find it in the bag i said to her everything is in the covers we hanged them, and lastly said the one small suite cover was not dropped, at this point I we wanted nothing to do with Zama and her worst business ethics and dire unprofessionalism, she later said we should read no 8 of the pink slip and it reads, for late return they charge R500 per day each day we don't return, the pink slip was not signed by us nor her,

Her assistant never mentioned the clause to us not made us sign for that clause, She said in December they normally close for leave and this time they where closing on the 20th Dec and reopening the 6th Jan but communication will be sent to us. Zama is now refusing to refund us our 2k for holding fee. Sibongile her resigned assistant told us that it was meant to cover damages made to the dress. Because some brides do not take care of the dresses and comes back in worst conditions.
