Hi Louis, nice to hear from you, but I am sorry to hear that they could not find a claim for you at Alexander Forbes. It could be they may not have your ID number on their system, but only your Surname, Initials and Date of Birth. If Alex Forbes cannot find the unclaimed record against your Identity Number, please insist that they try searching using your Surname (and Previous Surname, if applicable), Initial and Date of Birth. I’m sorry if this does turn out to be an old record, or owed to someone else. But it is always our belief that if there is any possibility it is owed to you it is always worth following up and making certain, rather than leave the unclaimed benefit sitting there forever. Hi i gave them my id numbers even my previous employment and they said nothing is on their system no unclaimed benefits from Alexander Forbes at all.

I'm sorry to hear that, but as mentioned above please DONT give them the ID number - ask them to search under your surname, initials, and date-of-birth. A while back they did not use ID numbers when taking out a policy, so if you ask them to look under your ID number now, it will not be there. Otherwise you may have already been paid this unclaimed benefit and this was an old record which should have been removed? or The unclaimed asset may belong to someone with the same details you as you (Initials, surname and date of birth), which sadly does happen quite frequently.
