Insulted by center manager

I passed by Victory park as I walked my dog. As I tried to find somewhere safe to leave him the center manager shows up from nowhere and terrified by the dog so naturally started screaming at me saying that dogs were not allowed and asked IF I CAN NOT READ (we have not entered anywhere the dog and I at this point). Me and the dog were still out in the car park - I never intended to bring him into the stores as I am fully aware of the rule as this is not the first time I have been to this centre and I also CAN read. Having brought my dog there in the past - as a dog owner we know there are rules! I was shocked that this \professional"can speak to customers that way and the incident turned into an embarrassing screaming match. I asked him what he was going to do and he never answered and walked away. I then proceeded to secure dog leash on a post and went into the store. I am a regular customer of this centre (there almost daily) - my gym is the Virgin Active"
