***** landlords

<p>I dont know if im complaining at the right place now but i need help and alot of advice on what to do with this matter. I was renting a 2 bedroom flat in Witbank Mpumalanga from 2015 - 2017. When i first moved into the place i heard alot of rumours from people renting there previously telling me that the landlord is not straight forward and not very honest. She would take your deposit when leaving the property and then would tell you its for the damages on the house or whatsoever only to find it is damages of the previous renter who's deposit was also kept in anyway. I took them on about it and told them that they are not going to do the same to me and they assured me that i dont have to worry about that. Now I did move out on the 24-06-2017 and we aggreed on outstanding electricity and water money to be deducted from the deposit and arrears ( as arranged earlier with the landlord ) aswell. First they were suppose to send me al the documentation of what the last electricity reading was together with the water and arrears and damage which we admitted on and aggreed to be taken from the deposit aswell. All this was suppose to happen within 7 days after moving out from the premises as stippulated in the lease contract. Its now almost two months later and still i have not received any documentation nor the outstanding balance of my deposit and if I try to contact them they either dont answer their phones or they will just keep on telling me that they will send me the documentation during the course of the day of the next day but still I dont get anything but in the meantime they will accuse me of damages and money they had to spend on the premises after we left but I know it did not happen and also I have photos to prove them wrong but still they stand on their accusations. In the almost two years we were staying there I was complaining about stuff that needs to be fixed and they never did a thing to fix it, I on the other hand had to get things fixed from my own pocket and when i want to claim it back from them they would say I am staying there so I have to make it worthwile to stay there myself. If i had problems of paying the rent immediately when its due they would not accept any arrangement from my side but rather threatening to throw us out if rent is not paid by the end of that day, now I have to wait for 2 months and they expect me to just accept it and like it is now I am out of money and need money to buy food for my children and they dont want to co-operate. I am desperate but dont know what to do anymore. If there is anyone who can assist me in my dilemma or even just tell me where to go for help I will appreciate it alot</p>
