BFHS / The Red Door : Well Done!!

My husband and I get much pleasure from supporting smaller, lesser known, but legitimate non-profit organisations. I recently travelled past a town called Piketberg outside of Cape Town, and got to see the Red Door shop finally, after only seeing the Facebook page and reading about this guy and his ambitions.

Initially I was severely underwhelmed by the office entry, but I had a look anyway. Glam it up a little!

But a few minutes of conversation and a cup of coffee later, I changed my opinion. What an interesting place and business. I was taken on a digital tour by the owner, and I had to conclude that the entire idea of this company very well suits the entertaining gentleman I met - nothing is in blocks, fixed, concrete, strictly black or white, but rather a "tailored to individual needs", dynamic mix of everything - and delightfully so. But, as I realised by his passionate explanation - wanting to help the local community the topmost goal of them all.

I wish this young man and his business(es) all of the very best. Indeed a worthy cause, worth supporting
