Benna Bok Conundrum

I ordered a Large Handbag from Benna Bok via their website on 30 August 2018. There was a "HUGE" special and the handbags were marked down considerably. I paid ons the same day.

An e-mail followed quickly, stating: "Handcrafted Leather Products custom designed take time. Firstly: Payment Reflection Time. 1-4 Days Secondly: Manufacturing Handcrafted Product/s. 5-30 Working Days a.k.a 6 weeks. Thirdly: Quality Control and Product Packaging. 24-72 hours a.k.a 1-3 Days. Final step: Courier collections and delivery. This time will all depend on the courier company."

I waited patiently for time to pass, but on 4 November I tried contacting them. They only answer with an automatic "will contact within 48 hours" e-mail. They DO NOT contact you within that time.

I have since found many, many HelloPeter reviews on them. This is not the first time someone has had this experience.

I also left a rather polite comment on their Facebook post (claiming that you can organise to collect your order), asking to pick up my purchase in person. They blocked me within a couple of hours. And a NEW HUGE SPECIAL is being advertised!!!!

This is not right! It is dishonest. I am very sad and disappointed. Had there been a problem with production or they required more time, surely communication would be forthcoming?
