Rotten Furniture

We are running a Bistro with indoor and outdoor seating . During December 2013 we received our Outdoor Furniture from Bench and Patio World , Paarden Eiland , Cape Town . Upon receipt we noticed that the wood treatment was not done properly , we contacted the owner which responded by telling us that they were rushing to finish the order to enable them to get it out to us before their factory close for their annual holiday. He also promised to attend to the problem when they open in the new year ( Jan '15 ) . Nothing happened , so we called them again in February 2015 . They then promised to replace the furniture after easter of that year . No action again ! We called again and was told we can expect them to uplift the furniture within two weeks . Nothing happened again till this day . Upon purchase we were promised that the furniture will last at least 20 years . The condition of the furniture now is to say the least ROTTEN - the wood is simply turning into dust and is crumbling away - a danger for our guests ! We have send pictures to them a week ago but received no response . Stay away from this supplier .
