Non payment of life rights

My mother passed away in April 2016 and the deceased estate has yet to receive a cent for the life right of her unit at Harveston Retirement Villages, despite the unit having been re-occupied a month later. The value of the life right in this instance is over R900,000 and according to the contract is supposed to be settled within 30 days.

It appears that my mother's estate is not the only one to be affected and I am aware of individual cases at Regents Park, Harveston, Jakaranda Village and Sterlig.

I would strongly suggest anyone considering acquiring one of these properties should proceed with caution.
