Bellville Furniture - PATHETIC service!!

This is one of the worst services I have received in my entire life!! We went to the store to buy a new couch and ottoman.

1. First they told us the price had gone up of the items we bought (okay fine, that is okay). 2. We bought the Couch and Ottoman in full on that day. 3. The "in store person"/salesman told us that even though they say it will take 2 to 4 weeks (on paper) to receive our new couch, that it would be delivered at our home before then. 4. We waited. They called US and told us it would be at our home in the 2nd week going to 3rd. We had to take leave from work. It did not arrive. They did not phone us to tell us why! We waited again...

5. After it did not arrive, we phoned them numerous times. - Each time with a different date and a new excuse on why it was not delivered. - One time they said the set could not be delivered because of rain. 6. The next phone call they told us that the ottoman was not finished, but they could deliver the couch on Saturday and the ottoman on Monday (a month later). 7. They did not phone us and the couch did not arrive. We sent an e-mail. 8. After week 4, we phoned them more than 3-4 times on that Monday. With lots of promises and NEW and old excuses. This time, that it would be delivered on Wednesday. 9. We waited and no one phoned or delivered. We phoned them AGAIN today and yet again they promised that it would arrive today by 2pm. It has not yet arrived and we are still waiting. It is now past 3pm... No Ottoman and not Couch to be seen.... :(

* They have nice furniture and their prices are not too bad. BUT their service is pathetic. * I would rather pay more and know for sure that I will receive my items. If you have a furniture business you make sure you have proper closed transport to deliver your items. * Not a happy customer. I have never complained about service, but this is pathetic!!
