Bellview Institute of Distance Learning is a failed corporation run by incompentant individuals!!!

To anyone ever reading this. Run in the opposite direction as far as possible. DO NOT study through them at all. You will more than likely never see your qualifications. You will more than likely complete your studies, pay your tuition fees and get nothing in return. I speak of experience. I completed my diploma for Educare, did my 18 month internship, got employed and lost my job because I could not prove formal qualification.

It started with the registration process for my N4 examinations where I used to reside in KZN, then moved down to Cape Town, they were informed well in advance. All they had to do was change the registration process and to inform DHET of my circumstances, that was never done. I decided to drive to the exam venue to collect my registration letter. It turned out I was never registered there to write my exams. Keep in mind this was a day before I was due to write my exams. Then N5 comes around, the idiots at the office working on m,y case gave me different instructions, never the less it was done. but not processed. I was then told via email that I never registered, but I did, they then offered me non nated courses such as how to deal with ***ual harrasment in the work place and HIV training. I declined their offer on the basis of why would I waste my limited free time on working through this course if I got nothing to prove for it. I told them to shove it. When N6 exams rolled around, I never received my N6 exam registration documents. They never emailed me, after months of back and forth the consensus was I was inelligible to write my exams with the first batch of students, therefore I had to wait 6 months before I could write my N6 exams. Then came the Internship. The stooges at support confirmed that the internship was only 6 months in duration. I did that, sent my documents and application materials. Exams that process the applications comes back with a response along the lines of We sincerely apoloigize for the incorrect information given to you but you need to complete another 12 months of interning at a daycare in order to complete your required 18 months, only then can you submit your application. 12 months goes by and I submit my application in October 2023. We are now IN July 2024. This where I am at now, your application was processed and your diploma was sent to the venue at which you registered first, this venue is in KZN. Someone at that venue is refusing to hand my diploma over to the collecting agent, so now it is stuck there. I am unable to travel up there myself to collect it becuase I have no job, no job means no money for me to fly up there, rent a car, drive to the venue, collect the diploma, return to the airport, drop the car off and fly back down to Cape Town.

Based on this course of events, I mean it does not take an idiot to conclude that my exams took place in Cape Town, I was registered on Bellview's system to write them in Cape Town, but on the DHET`s system I was still writing in KZN. DHET was never informed of the change in my cisrcumstances regarding the change in venue for when exams were in progress, hence why they sent it to KZN and not Cape Town.

Fast forward to today, they stopped answering my phone calls, they stopped communicating with me and responding to my emails. Whilst I sit here unable to apply for a job due to being negligent in their duties to inform DHET of the change in my circumstances.

I strongly feel that this institution should be stripped of accreditation with the DHET and that their exams and support departments need to be trained, their systems need to be streamlined and co-ordinated so that the left hand knows exactly what the right hand is doing and vice versa. Unfortunately I have been reduced down to joining the unemployment rate because of these people.

They dont care at all because of the fact that they have jobs so therefore they dont worry about people like me, people like us whio hold up our end of the bargain and people like us who pay for qualifications, only to never receive them apart from run of the mill excuses like its been issued and sent to the venue in KZN, then to believe me Im doing my very best to get this matter resolved to the courier has attempted to collect the diploma on 2 seperate occasions but he was unable to do so due to the person on that side refusing to hand it over. Now here I sit waiting and waiting and waiting and doing nothing but waiting for the day to come where I receive it, but I realized that it is becoming clwear as day that I will most likely never recieve it so I might as well forget about finding a job and carry on studying a degree at another institution until I am able to receive my degree. So that mneans waiting +- 2 years before I am able to enter the working world, that would put me at age 31. My fees are paid, I paid the complete course fees in two intallments, upon enrolling in January 2019.
