Mother's 80th birthday cake - wrong store

I went to collect the cake from Blubird, but the staff said it wasn't there. Unfazed, they offered to make up something else, but didn't have the right size. I can only assume from their attitude that this is a regular occurrence. They then found out that it was at Clearwater Mall. I asked whether they could arrange delivery. The answer was no.<br> I drove all the way to Clearwater Mall. I was charged the fulll price of R1311, despite my inconvenience - never mind the petrol. When I asked about a discount, I was told it wasn't their policy. They then offered me cupcakes. Seriously??? I was over 1 hour late for my mom's 80th birthday lunch.<br> I emailed Linda two days later as no one had been in touch to apologise. I got 2 curt responses, making excuses.
