Bad Service and Bad Attitude at Bella Donna Hair & Beauty

Myself and a friend purchased privilege cards for Bella Donna Hair and Beauty Salon(situated in Hilton, Pietermaritzburg) in October 2017. According to the terms and conditions the privilege card was not valid from 1/12/2017 to 5/01/2018. We tried to secure appointments in November 2017 but were advised that the salon was fully booked.

On the morning of 4/01/18 I sent a WhatsApp message on ********** to try and secure an appointment after seeing on the Bella Donna FB page that they had a few appointments left for the week. My message was read but I never received a response and I was then blocked on WhatsApp. I have screenshots of the WhatsApp profile once I was blocked and a screenshot of the WhatsApp profile if one is not blocked which I have attached hereto.

I decided to take a drive up to Hilton to try and make an appointment only to be told by the owner Tracy Riggien, in what I considered an unprofessional manner that the salon is no longer doing priviledge cards as the agent oversold on the privilege cards and that I can get a refund from the agent. Each time I tried to engage with Tracey Riggien on the privilege card she cut me off by saying that I should take it up with the agent. The salon was full of clients and I realised that trying to engage with her was futile.

The most frustrating aspect of this was that Bella Donna could have responded to me via WhatsApp that they are no longer doing priviledge cards. This would have saved me a trip from Scottsville all the way to Hilton. But instead they blocked me on WhatsApp.

The agent was contacted and advised that Bella Donna is no longer doing Priviledge cards and that the agent must do a refund to me. The agent advised that this is not the case but that he would contact the marketing company to get further clarity on this issue. The agent came back to us and indicated that Bella Donna was contacted and that they are doing priviledge cards.

I cannot understand why I was misled by Tracy Riggien in this way, why I was blocked on WhatsApp and why I did not get a response to my WhatsApp request to make an appointment as the priviledge card indicated that appointments should be made via WhatsApp.

This was a highly frustrating experience and it was an inconvenience for me to drive all the way to Hilton only to be treated in this way.
