They are refusing to refund me.

I made a reservation for visiting Durban with my stay at Belair Suites. I paid my stay using Booking.com with confirmation no ***. I was involved in a car accident and injured, my car was written off. I called Booking.com to cancel my reservation so that they can keep my credit until I’m ready to travel again, I was told that the reservation is cancelled and my money will be returned to me. When I call Booking.com it said the property must refund me, the property said Booking.com must refund me. I don’t know who to run to because I’ve benn sent from pillar to post. I thought the two companies were honest and reputable, but I was wrong. That is service from hell.
