Very disapointing. Their signature meal, the chicken and prawn combo they have lost the plot. Had dinner there lastnight, didnt get the disposable napkins we normally used to get. The prawns have shrunk to little over shrimp and the chicken is now not much bigger than a pidgeon. Did not get the signature chips-mixed fresh cut round and normal, but got chips of very bad quality. From the quality we used to get in the past when we used to pay R95 for the special, to the ridiculously high R195 is a huge comparison. Beira Alta you have lost the plot. Your quality and standards have dropped significantly. The taste is still as good but thats about all to enjoy for the price, especially when you drive from blythedale and of all the many restaurants along the way we chose you.
