INFERIOR QUALITY BED WHICH THEY WANT TO REPAIR NOT REPLACE
We purchased a bed set on 21 September which we received 27 September. On 23 November we reported to the N1 City Store that the springs had given way and you could see the definite pattern through the mattress. We were advised by Christine to send an email with photos to her and she would send it to the correct person, which we duly did. On 30 November we went back to the store to enquire as we had heard nothing from them with regard to the problem. They used Black Friday as an excuse and advised that they would be in touch.
Monday 6 December they called to say they would make a turn at 5pm on Wednesday 8 December. They called at 16:15 to advise that they wouldn't be able to make it and rescheduled.
What annoys us is that we spent a lot of money on a bed that has given way 8 weeks later. They mentioned repairing the bed, which is unacceptable to us as we (a) won't have a bed to sleep on when they take the bed away to assess it and (b) shouldn't have to accept a repair to a new bed. We expect a replacement with immediate effect.
