False advertising by the Motus Toyota Bedfordview
My only experience with the dealership is *****ed by the lack of accountability, customer relationship management and ************* commitment from the automark manager Nic Sillato. I purchased the car from the dealership last year in October in response to an adverti*****t they had put up. The sales man was helpful until the delivery of the vehicle and the matter outstanding was the full service history book as advertised in the advert. This was a used vehicle and it was important for me to have for the same reason other dealerships will categorize vehicle the vehicle between category A or B and perform full condition assessment report as part of the purchase. I raised the matter with the dealership after delivery of the vehicle was processed upon realising this was not delivered with the car. This was relayed to both the sales man and the automark manager Nic Sillato. Furthermore, the other pressing matter was that the vehicle was advertised at a lower mileage which was before it was due for service. However, the vehicle was delivered to me past due the service. Since I did not have the service book there was no proof that service was done. I was promised countless times that this will be delivered to me prompt and a week became a month and months. It had to take me to write numerous emails, make phone calls and frequent visiting the dealership before they decided that they will do a service. It took the dealership in access of two months before doing the service in December and at this point I was assured once again that the new service book and remainder of the service history in writing. The manager mentioned that they have a good relationship with the dealer they brought it from and that dealer bright it from a friend. He even asked me if the car was missing an aerial when it was delivered to me to which I reposnded that the sales person bought a replacement aerial. The manager promised that he will personally drive and go collect it and to date that has not happened despite my making enquiries. Instead the manager has continued to tell me perpetual lies and make commitments in ill faith. Lately, my emails have gone unanswered and there is a lack of care given to the matter by the manager whom still makes failing commitments. I have since realised that I may have been a victim of false advertising and this was to the manager's full knowledge, except the matter was being dragged in hope that I will relent plus the transaction has been completed on their side. It is clear to me that there is some chicanery going on. Now if I was to sell the vehicle to any dealer and tell them I do not have its service history, the vehicle will be devalued yet I paid good money for it. I have arrived at the point were I realise that dealer will not deliver on their promise.
