Rude and disrespectful

I had booked a skin analysis appointment a month ago, providing all my details. I arrived at the appointment location, which was quite far from where I live, only to find out that the lady who performs the analysis wasn’t available that day. I confirmed that my booking was indeed correct. I then asked why no one had bothered to call and cancel my appointment. The lady rep**** that it wasn’t her job and that she couldn’t help me. This was quite unprofessional and rude. How can one shop at a store when they don’t prioritise their customers’ needs?
