Naicinamide foul smelling lotion
Bought a lotion on the 08th of Aug and when I opened it about a week later, it had a foul smell.
Called them to inform them about my issue and was advised to return the lotion for an exchange rather to MOA store that’s I bought it from.
When I get to the store, I’m then told they can’t do anything for me since I don’t have a receipt and the lotion is already opened. How in the world would I want to return something that has a foul smell and must not be opened.
I’m then informed to keep the foul smelling R310 lotion. To think I drove all the way from PTA for such a service, it’s disheartening to say the least.

28 Aug 2024, 13:19Hi Tshepiso. We're very sorry about the incident. Unforuntately we have to follow policy to also protect other consumers and to follow Health regulations. 1. Returns must be made within 7 days and yours was almost three weeks later. 2. You need to have a receipt to make a return - you didn't have a receipt. We unfortunately can't bend the rules for some customers and enforce for others. The fragrance free lotion contains liquid paraffin which is what may give rise to the "chemical" smell you detected. All Pastry products are tested thoroughly before going on shelves.
