Beaulieu Country Estate (mis)management

My mother was recently involved in an incident where, due to gross negligence of the Beaulieu Country Estate (BCE), Midrand maintenance staff, the driver-side window of her car was shattered. Luckily, she was unharmed but rather shaken. The outcome could have been much worse. The concerned BCE management at first acknowledged their fault for the staff negligence but quickly changed their approach, becoming very official and legalistic. They denied any wrong-doing, although effectively admitted their fault by compensating my mother for the window replacement. However, they refused to compensate her for damage done to the paintwork on the vehicle below the window. This is despite the fact that a similar incident occurred two weeks prior, apparently involving the same maintenance staff. Clearly, the management had not taken any steps to prevent such incidents in the future. Throughout this ordeal, the BCE management concerned proved themselves to be arrogant, irresponsible and obstructive. The BCE board appeared not to be of much better mettle. With such individuals at the helm of this organisation, I would not be surprised if property values in BCE begin to depreciate (rather than continue appreciating) as this estate becomes unattractive due to its (mis)management.
