Poor Product Quality. Zero Value for Money.

My mother bought leather couches last year at Beares Queenstown, and she spend about R20,000 on them. A year later the couches started to show cracks and damages. I contacted Beares Queenstown and was told that the warranty period had passed. Yesterday I was passing one of their shops and decided to go in and pretend to be looking. One of the store consultants came to me and I asked her about one of the leather couches that were in store; asking what if they show signs of damaged/tear. She assured me that they sell quality products that are durable and will last years, at least. But then that's something anyone looking for a sale would say.

I know the couches were not genuine leather, and would eventually get damaged. But I didn't expect it to happen a year later. I bought two leather chairs at Decofurn for my house last year as well (before my mother bought her couches) and they are still intact - no cracks, tear, or damages.

That says something about Beares product quality. They promise a good quality, yet will deliver the worst. They are only happy to have made a sale. After that they don't care. I definitely would not be buying anything from the store again. Even my mother was skeptical about them before buying the couches, but my brother and the sales person convinced her otherwise. Beares does not provide quality and value for your money.
