Payment arrangement

have an account with bears and yes my account is in arrears but i went a thousand time to them to let them know i am unemployed and requested if i can pay any amount i have but i always get call and your agents say that the system still says i am still working. i am now being forced to do a debit order agreement where there is no income and when they dont get the money theycall again to ask why the debit order bounced.what should i do?
