we purchased coaches and a wall unit on credit for R2944 pm in 2013 the contract we signed with bears stated that we will pay for 24months as we requested and in total we paid R70 656, according to my understanding we done with bears, but this month they debited R2944 again and do not understand how this could be as a customer i requested for 24 months contract with bears, I demand a refund and the account closed. African bank is used to rob people of their money, if they decided to change the contract then they better make sure they communicate with the client and ensure their clients understands. I am really disappointed with the billing service because i have been a customer with bears for a long time now and African bank will destroy our relationship, I suggest that this issue get fixed and i am refunded my money then close this account

Please be advised that as at 1st December 2014 the Lewis Group acquired the Beares brand and at the same time opened selected Beares branches across the country.
It must be further understood that in acquiring the Beares brand, the Lewis Group did not accept liability for the debtor book which remains the property of Ellerines Holdings / African Bank.
