Credit Aproval valid for 7 days but not helped after 2 days

I am so upset as a customer today, upset is an understatement , on 10 May 2022 I app**** for credit with Beares and received an approval valid for 7 days, I was so impressed by the sales consultant as she helped me very quickly, we communicated every day since the the day I got the approval, I sent her the list of what I needed and she advised me to clear the outstanding on my TV licence if any so that I could have no issues with getting the TV, I was approved for 61000 without deposit and travelled all the way took a half day at work and paid 2000 on my tv licence before going to sign my documents which I was told was the final step, I was so excited , getting to the branch they let me choose everything I need and write out the slip, but getting to the consultant to do the final bits he tells me sorry we can't help you anymore your african bank accounts are now showing as outstanding , I explain to him that the loan is under dispute and the credit card not in arrears so I go to African bank to get a statement as proof which they provided for the card , but since the loan is under dispute for prescription it had been an account from 2011 that is in the process of being written off which I also showed them the dispute logged , but that was not good enough , I spend 400 on transport to get them while all day I was asking them to please make sure no issues when I get there , I feel wronged as a customer because nothing had changed on my credit status between the 10th and today how am I given approval valid for 7 days that I am now told I cannot use after 2 days I am mad ad hell the embarrassment I felt the money I spent I was even on the phone with African bank in the branch still not good enough the biggest disappointment I have ever experienced the strange thing is I managed to buy 2 bicycles at Lewis who is part of the same group today with the same credit profile my biggest issue here is why I was told valid for 7 days when I am being given problems 2 days later yet nothing changed in my credit life in 2 days I need urgent assistance please because I feel wrongly treated as a customer its totally pathetic I spent 3 hours in the branch to walk out with nothing . please assist
