BEDROOM SUITE QUOTATION

I Sibongile Mchunu I.D no. ***, I went to Beares stores early December 2025, to make a quotation of a bedroom suite. I was helped by 2 gentlemen, Mr Mbanjwa and the other I can't recall his name. They requested my ID, payslip and bank statement. Then they told me that the instalment will be 1900. I told them I am going to think about it, as I still have to do my budget, and I will come back if the budget allows me. They phoned me for a delivery, I told them that I have signed anything, how can they deliver the goods. Thereafter I told them that I am unable to purchase the goods as my finances are tight, therefore I requested them to cancel the deal and they agreed and promised to cancel.

As time goes on I have been receiving messages stating that I should pay the instalment to avoid arrears and credit bureau. I went back to show them the messages and asked to clear this , they told me that maybe its the head office' fault, they will contact them to rectify the mistake they have done.

Today on the 13/01/2026 at 10h49, I received a call from a lady and she said she is calling from Beares head office regarding the debts payment amounting to R1900, She said I bought bedroom suite plus mattress set and it was delivered to and I signed for it. I told her I cancelled that quotation in December before Christmas due to the I would not afford due to financial constraints.. She told me that on their side it is showing that I owe them December instalment and I need to pay for it.

Therefore I am asking hellopeter to help me resolve this matter it is tarnishing my name as a bad payer and this is lowering my credit score or else I will sue them for this rotten *****ulent under my name.
