Beares STOLE my money.

Beares stole my money. Yes, it is as simple as that. Even when presented with the facts they still neglected to pay me back my money. By sharing my experience, I get to inform my fellow countrymen to proceed with great caution if you ever consider making use of their services.

An additional R627.55 was deducted from my account end of April 2022 – after following the ’correct’ procedure (phoning the head office numerous times, physically going to the shop countless times as instructed by Beares employees) I received NO joy. Its back and forth – the store manager says they cannot help me, head offices/the financial department has to sort it out from their side ; the call centre agents gave me instruction to go to the stoor physically to collect the refund. The worst part of it all is that they argue I cannot get the full amount owed to me because of “interest” owed by me to Beares…But my account is paid up.

Just imagine a scenario where Beares pockets an additional R50 (for example) from every customer – how lined are the big bosses pockets? And that at the expense of others. I cannot stand this.

I believe anyone who comes to this site really feels like they have no other option left and this is why I want to take the time and just emphasize that anyone considering to buy anything from Beares should REALLY reconsider – Beares REALLY do not care about you.
