Bean Tree Café, Shell Garage, Kraaibosch, George, Western Cape

Many people are skeptical at buying food at a petrol filling station, reminiscent of the infamous garage pie, but the Bean Tree Café at Shell Garage, Kraaibosch in George is much different. On Friday 27 August 2021 and the weekend before that, I have selected from their menu a meal consisting of grilled chicken breast fillet and mixed vegetables. At both occasions the food was cooked perfectly, full of flavor and very tasty. They do not store the grilled fillets during the day so during every order is freshly cooked from scratch. It can take up to twenty minutes to cook this meal. The prices for their menu items are reasonable. The personnel are very friendly and helpful. Once tried you will go back.
