Beacon with allsorts of metal in allsorts of sealed sweets

So on the 9th of January 2018 my sons gad a friend over to play. As usual the had lunch and were allowed thereafter to gave something sweet. Because they both love Allsorts from @Beacon they wanted to open a packet. This is one of them noticed something different in the allsorts. With closer inspection we discovered bolts, nuts and washers sealed inside the packet with the sweets. If they - as usual - just ripped open the packet and chucked back a handful there might have been teeth and more that would gave been damaged. On the 11th I got a call back from one of @Beacon ‘s customers relationship department. He promised to collect the packet and to give us feedback after investigation. Today it is going for 4 months and not a word....

What is your opinion? Is this just one of those things that happen? Should we in future inspect every sealed packet or container for anything untoward? We also have video showing the metal allsorts inside a sealed packet
