Beacon Marshmallow Easter Eggs bad Quality

I must say that when it comes to this time of year we all go a bit overboard with the Beacon Marshmallow Easter Eggs. The kids simply love it and although it has become quit expensive it is still a must have all over. For the first time I have been highly disappointed to have opened one of the marshmallows just to be disappointed as the chocolate is off colour with whitish spots that look like mould which makes it look very unpleasant as one would think its stale. I will not eat something that looks like that and would never allow my kids to either. The expiry date is only in November so how is this possible. Your feedback with regards to this would be greatly appreciated.<br>
