I joined be2.co.za and paid my joining fee. After a week I saw that the dating site was not gli g to work for me as the matches they were paring up for me were way below my league and what I was looking for. I decided I must cancel the contract 14 days before the month ends as that is what most dating sites demand. I tried to cancel my contract on the dating site 3X !!! and on all three, different occasions on different days and different computers and devices it pops up a response saying.... ' are you sure you want to leave us? Don't you rather want to stay on the dating site' it doesn't give you the option to click no. OnLy YES. So after three unsuccesful attempts I give up. I look up their number on the website and find a telephone number in Europe. I send a fac sayimg I want to cancel my contract. Their reply is ......sorry you have to post your cancellation. What a mission!!! No I send a letter and being from SA it gets lost in the post. By now the month is over and the send me a bill that they are suing me for for R1440 where my initial joining fee was only R80. Now somewhere in the payment swction, right at the bottom, after you have read their terms and conditions it tells you that the next month will be R1200 for joining per month. No o e reads that as you are too worried about your credit card details you don't look anywhere else on the page except where you are busy.
