Shocking Service

Last week Wednesday we called them to come out to have a look at out refrigerator. They only come to our area once a week which is a Thursday. They arrived at our house on the Thursday, (I was not there only my husband) but did not check the Eskom schedule which started again and as a result they arrived when we had load shedding. They left and said that we should call them if we want them to come out again which we did not do. They arrived the Friday and told my husband that they were in Port Owen, and came back to check the fridge, although we did not ask them to come back. They walked in, the lady with her clip board wrote down the model number, opened the fridge, closed it and said she thinks it is the compressor, and then asked for her R400. They did not issue us with a receipt for the money. My husband asked her what it would cost to which she rep****, I can quote you but it is very expensive. Why did she not just do her job and say that she will get a quote to us, but telling us that it was expensive was her reply,, did she think that we could not afford it? What she did do is tell us that we can take it to cash crusaders, as the owner gives good prices. So no quote, but telling us to take it to cash crusaders? what a joke.

I phoned the office and spoke with the owner, and told her that I should not be paying for a "i think" and that they are *****ing my money. She first said that she will give back my money as she has so much that is will not affect her, just to tell me later that she will not do that. She told me that I have to pay as they came out just for us, but first of all we did not call them to come back, and secondly the lady technician told my husband that they were in Port Owen so they were in the area and popped in again. I told her that maybe she needs the money more than me, but the level of service we received was shocking. The owner **** about them coming out just for us. Then she proceeded to put the phone down on me.

I called back again and spoke to a gentleman that basically repeated her story and also put the phone down on me. I find this shocking behaviour of a company that is supposed to render a service to the community.

I would not use this company ever again, as they are unprofessional and do not do a proper job other than suggesting that you must take your appliance to the second hand dealer.

Be careful who you give your money to and make sure to check any companies reviews before using them and giving them your hard earned cash.
