Property Agent ripe off Landlord

One of BCI Agent - Rene Tsiba, rented out two of my properties(main house and cottage) in April 2025. The tenant did not honor the terms of the lease agreement that we signed with regards to keeping the dog away from other tenants, number of people t live in the house. I made provision for the dog to be kept but the tenant will allow the dog to enter into the houses of other tenant.

The dog was a threat to other tenant so I gave the tenant two and a half months to live. The agent advise the tenant not to pay rent for May but to instead use their deposit as rent. The tenant ran his car in to the gate and the gate is not working - She refuse to fix it. The tenant is owing water bills which she is not willing to pay. The house was over populated with nine people staying in the house, which led to drain block but the tenant refuse to pay for the drain unblock. The agent only promise to look for another accommodation for the tenant. I am therefore requesting BCI property to pay for and fix what the tenant has destroyed.

The agent took R9200 from me as commission for the first tenant and R4600 for the second tenant. He advise both tenant to move out , that he will look for another accommodation for them.

I therefore want BCI property to refund a portion of my commission back as both tenant signed a twelve months lease agreement but only stayed for 2months. The tenant in the house is preventing prospective viewers to view the property. I need BCI property to sort out the mess created by its agent Rene asap.
