Sadly after spending many 10's of thousands with BCE, we will never deal with them again. One of our Robot Coupe machines failed and BCE said it needed a new motor, about R10,000! Motor was fitted, a year later, machine failed again, BCE said it needed another new motor R12,000! I decided to get a second opinion, and my engineer found a switch was loose and fixed the machine for R90! My engineer then looked at the old motor that BCE removed the first time and found that it too was working and only needed new bearings and a capacitor, about a R900 repair that we were billed R10,000 for. We complained to the financial manager at BCE who said that it was our problem as we 'accepted their quote'! I'm outraged at the lack of any ethics, respect for the hand that feeds them and blatant '***********'.
