15 000 km service at BB RENAULT HATFIELD !!!

My car went for a 15 000 km service on Monday 27June at BB RENAULT HATFIELD. On my way home my car broke down, smoke coming from the exhaust pipe, oil light blinking and beeping, my gears were also no longe working (only neutral). I managed to pull of from the road, Woman alone I was stuck next to the highway just outside of Thembisa Johannesburg. By the time my fiance arrive we have noticed that there were no oil in my car, all the oil have leaked out.

Calling the service center where my car was no one answered, we got hold of the agent who sold my car to me (she was helpful) we got roadside assistance number and by 18:00 they came to fetch my vehicle. The next day Reanult Hatfield was supposed to collect my vehicle at kempton park Renault to inspect what was wrong with my car. They notified us they were on their way collecting my car at 10:30 lucky for the car track app I was able to monitor my car. They only fetched my car after 14:00 .

The manager informed us that from the sound of it it seems as if the samp lid wasn't closed correctly and might have got lost, but then he suddenly changed his story saying that the oil filters seal cracked and split into half, so we asked to see the faulty part as they stated that this was Reanult SA's fault and the people at Reanult Hatfield and the mechanic who worked on my vehicle was innocent of this breakdown on my car. The manager said that he wrote an email to Reanult SA about the 'faulty part' , he alos informed us that they will take my care to get cleaned as my whole car was covered in oil underneath as well as the back side fenders. They also stated that they were going to do "tests" om my car making sure that theres nothing wrong with the engine, for the tests to be done my car needs be idling (car track again shows different). The following day (Wednesday) they were to returned my car along with the "faulty part". I received my car but not the part. My fiance asked about it and the manager said it is against their policy to show us the "faulty part ". Okay so we thought my car was in great shape, not knowing that my car was still leaking oil we traveled to Limpopo to visit family just to find out that my car was still leaking and never went to get cleaned (thank so car track) !! Now the clutch and the gears are giving us troubles , it's not the same as it use to be, clutch keep slipping and needs to be stepped in harder the gear box is struggling to go into gear ...

Trying to phone Hatfield Reanult, they keep telling us that the manager is not there at the moment but you can hear the consultant talking to him (calling him by his name) in the back. Then they say they will call us back but they don't !

The manager also promised us a signed document stated that there's nothing wrong with my car. We also asked for proof of the faulty part and the email that the manager stated he has sent to Reanult SA to report the "faulty part" ... It's been 1 week since the incident and no document have been received.

Also talking to some professionals about the "faulty part" (seal that cracked and split) they stated that this was not even possible as the seal is rubber and could not have cracked, also stating that it seems more like the samp lid or the filter that wasn't placed in n correctly (mechanical incompetence).. My vehicle only have a bit over 15000 km on the clock and was in perfectly good condition before the service. My fiance and I bought a brand new car so that we don't have to have any struggle with a vehicle and now I don't even have the confidence to drive my own car !

I want proof that there's nothing wrong with my vehicle and that it really was just a faulty part!

I would never refer someone to BB Renault Hatfield again !
