*****ULENT TRANSACTION AND POOR SERVICE

During January 2026 we bought a vehicle Omoda C5 at BB Group Motors at Lavender Road Sinoville. The vehicle was advertised as brand new as well as a 2026 model. We signed the contract with the belief that the car was new. Two days before delivery it came to our knowledge that the car was already registered on E-Natis system on a certain individual. I made the dealership aware that the car was already registered and the response from the dealership was that it was impossible. A day later the dealership confirmed that the car was indeed registered, but they will resolve the issue licencing Department to ensure that the discrepancy is sorted out. Later on, when the dealership sent the copy of the licencing document, we learned that the car was registered as a used vehicle and a 2025 model. We view this action as misrepresentation as the dealership did not comply with the contract. I further went to the dealership several times and was informed that they are busy sorting out the matter. At no stage did the dealership contact the client to inform her of the problems. After a period of six months; the dealership through one of the employees as directed Reinier Engelbrecht arranged a meeting with us as he was getting pressure from the bank. In the meeting Mr Engelbrecht got agitated and emotional as he was avoiding questions posed to him, He could not explain as to how the dealership delivered the vehicle even if it came to the attention that the vehicle was already registered. He was trying to impose to the client that she signs a document agreeing to keep the vehicle as is. I raised a point that the vehicle will not be covered under *** km engine warranty as it applies to first owner which was a legitimate point. Mr Engelbrecht failed to resolve the problem and became emotional and left his office as he was not willing to talk to us anymore. The dealership has totally failed the client and do not want to take responsibility for the mess they have caused.
