Baywest Shopping centre is a disgrace to our city.

I went to Baywest Mall in Port Elizabeth on Friday and I am hugely disgusted. In the parking lot, on my way in, a concrete block about the size fell from the ceiling about 3 metres away from me. If any of my friends or I were closer it could have killed one of us. The entire centre is a disgrace! less than half the stores are vacant let alone open and there are holes everywhere in the tiled floor which are simply marked off with red spray paint to prevent people from standing on it! The whole place reeks of glue and paint which I am sure is a health hazard. Then I tried to leave the machines to pay for parking were broken! We were told that they cannot accept credit cards or paper money, only coins, even if you had the exact amount in paper. We were then told to go and draw money by a man that is clearly uneducated because if he was he would have known that ATMs don't distribute coins. After having to find a shop that would exchange our money for coins we eventually were able to leave and for that I am thankful. Will certainly not be returning to such a dismal and revolting place.
