Help please!!!!!!

Well honestly..... I am at my witts end. It just seems as if there are no honest people in this country any more. I have had a mechanical problem (the car kept on over heating) with my 2009 Hyundai Atos GLS. I took it to a mechanic who did repairs to the value of R20 000.00. The same problem persisted. I was therefore very sceptical to take my vehicle back to the same mechanic after the car broke down the second time. I was referred to Bayview Auto repairs in Richards Bay. I approached the Ombutsman and was told that they would not be able to assist me as I have made use of a different mechanic. I left it at that and have lodged a complaint with "HalloPeter" which did not make a difference as that mechanic is still operating and did not even reply/read the review. According to the new mechanic from Bayview Auto repairs in Richards Bay, half of what I paid for was not even repaired. Hy then informed me that he would submit a report regarding the same. I paid him R4500 ro do my cars head and a further R 4 000 to do my gearbox. I must look like a total idiot due to the fact that this guy also took me for a ride. The car overheated again and the head had to be done again. He stuck stickers all over my car including the engine as a reminder that the vehicle had to be returned in order for them to "talk" the head after 1000km. I just don't know what to do. Every time we manage to contact this man, he informs us that he is very busy. My vehicle had now almost done 20 000km's yet no response. After he worked on my car the first time I informed him that my car is using in excess of three pints of oil each time I fill up, he informed me that it must be the rings, yet prior to him working on the car, I did not have that problem. You can see oil coming from the head gasket now. So today I decided to try the Ombutsman again. I was asked if this is a private matter and informed that I should first confirm with DTI if the company is registered. Nice try. When you phone DTI, you get their operating hours and the phone cuts off. I really don't know what to do. I am a divorced woman and each time my car breaks I need to borrow money for the repair and find additional transport. I honestly feel violated and abused. WHAT MUST I DO TO GET HELP?
