false advertising, bad service and no refund

If is could give a minus review i would but 1 star is the lowest so here goes. I am posting this message as a result of our experience at the Bayside hotel/lodge in Pinetown on Friday 23 June as already discussed with Bayside Head office. We made a group booking for a group of young gymnasts travelling with their coaches and some parents. Look at your website and how exquisite it looks. This is just a picture and NOTHING at all what we experienced when we arrived. I am going to keep this as short as i can whilst making myself very clear. This place is nothing but a filthy, unsafe brothel. The manager has a very annoying arrogant attitude and the staff just laughed behind our backs when they 'maybe' thought we left or didn't even care. We could check in from 4pm, after 5pm some rooms were not ready but still being occupied by the 'clientelle' who rent the room per hour at a CASH only rate. This is obviously going into staff pockets because it it not recorded, invoiced or on your systems are they? I cancelled our booking 17:30 and even told the manager that it is before six he must take note. His arguement: ‘You will get maybe 30% refund because I told all clients requesting a room from 3pm today that rooms are full therefore, we are losing money,’ meanwhile while we were still filling in reports and cancelling our stay whilst arguing about the refund, he already handed some keys allocated to our rooms to new 'walk-in' customers. When completing the refund/cancellation reports I requested several times that this arrogant gentleman write one simple sentence at the bottom of our reports next to his signature as manager of the place: 'I HEREBY CONFIRM THAT THESE PEOPLE DID NOT USE OR OCCYPY THE ROOMS BOOKED FOR THEM' He point blank refused, laughed at us, turned around and pointed at the BAYSIDE picture on the wall behind us and told us this is a very big successful hotel group and we will maybe get 30% deposit back. Why was he afraid of writing such a simple statement? What is he hiding? Is he afraid/threatened? Does he have little secrets? Did he want to pocket this deposit as well? You can answer that for yourself.

HYGIENE/CLEANLINESS: Some rooms smelt of smoke, some had mould in the walls and ceiling and some smelt disgustingly like fresh URINE!!!! This place is just a disgrace.

SAFETY: Windows could not be opened for fresh air to let the disgusting smells vent without a security risk. We were travelling with 17 young girls for who we were responsible the whole weekend. The coaches were given rooms on the ground floor one side of the building and the young girls on the second floor on the other side of the building. Human trafficking and prostitution is REAL therefore we could under NO circumstances stay there for the weekend.

MIS-INFORMATION: You know and are well aware of what you advertise on the internet but fail to mention that this place is used for prostitution at an hourly rate. No decent, responsible family travelling with their young children will choose this *hole if they know how they operate. Enough information and Facebook comments screenshots have been sent to the Bayside group to prove this statement already so no need for me to go into more details at this stage.
