Negligence with peoples futures

I have tried all possible ways I could, I contacted Bayajula training academy in the beginning of March 2019 as I was interested in the CIPS course. I then spoke to Sandy Via email and told her that I am interested in doing a CIPS course and I also advised her that I would be applying for a bursary at work and I asked her how to go about applying . Sandy then advised me to send her my CV in order to see which level I should start on , which I sent. I then went about applying for a bursary at work which required me to send them my Expression of interest and the cost of the course, I was then awaiting a response from sandy as to which level I should start on and the total cost of the course as I had to submit that. Sandy sent me a whatsapp and advised me that Mr Simuka would like to speak to me as he is the person who reviews CV’s and that advises as to which level I should start. I called Mr Samuka and he asked me to breakdown my work experience for him and he advised that I should start on Diploma level and because I have enough experience I would only do Module 4&5, but he would confirm this information with Sandy. Sandy then sent me an email and advised me that I would be starting on Diploma level and do Module 4&5 , she also sent me a pro-forma invoice for R19050.00. I then sent my expression of interest with the above mentioned information . I then received an email from work stating that I should submit the following details to qualify for a bursary : • A completed application form • Acceptance letter from the institution • Course overview of modules • Previous academic record • Tuition quote • Prescribed learning content quote • Institutions banking details or cancelled cheque Before submitting all these documents Sandy sent me Cips Membership forms and a registration form which I sent back to her. She then sent me a revised quotation with an amount of R19100.50 and acceptance letter from Bayajula which I submitted at work. According to me and the information that I was provided with I was told that the course would start on the 01 may 2019. Sandy did a follow up with me on the 20th March 2019 checking whether the bursary people has responded I then told her that they haven’t. on the 2nd of April 2019 I received an email letting me know of the success of my bursary and I let Sandy know about it on the 4th of April 2019 and I also notified her that I only received R16577.00 and that the rest of the money I would have to cover from my own pocket. I asked Sandy if it would be possible for me to make payment arrangements for the balance and she said that it would not be a problem. I then went on and Signed my bursary agreements and me being excited and thinking that everything is in order. I get a phone call from Mr Simuka on the 16th of April 2019, telling me that he sees that I have only registered for 2 modules and that I have to do 8 modules to complete the whole course. I then reminded Mr Simuka of what he and Sandy told me and he tried to convince me that he never said so and denied that he told me that I was supposed to start on diploma and do module 4 & 5 only to obtain my diploma. I forwarded Mr Simuka the email clearly stating what they advised. Mr Simuka called me be back apologizing and told me that Sandy misunderstood him and he thought that I would start with the previous class and do Module 4&5 but the modules are too big and it would be too much to do in that short time. I explained to Mr Simuka how the bursary works and he assured me that he will talk to Sandy and they will find a solution and get back to me. Days went by and the 1st May 2019 Approaching where I would have to start with my studies and no call or a word from them, I decided to call Sandy and Sandy then tells me that she was the one who made a mistake on the quotation and sends me a revised quotation with a price that I have no money for, and that she would like to speak to the bursary people at work so that she can explain the mistake that she made and I told her that unfortunately I cannot just give out contact details and I sent a mail to the person who deals with my bursary and she advised me to call our Learning and Development department and advise them on the matter and I did so, they told me that because I already signed all documents there is nothing that they can change. Without Sandy or Mr Simuka getting back to me or calling for feedback. Sandy sends me an Email on the 29th of April 2019 that she is Just reminding me that we are starting classes for the CIPS Diploma this Saturday and she would like to have registered as soon as possible.me.(To my knowledge I have sent her those documents and I have recieved an acceptance letter). I then send Sandy and Mr Simuka an email regarding the mistake that I they have made and I receive no response regarding that email. I then receive an email with an assignment which I was lost about, I then called Sandy and she said that she only CC’d me because she wanted me to be aware of what was happening as I have already missed one class. I then asked her if she has resolved anything on her side, since I tried on my side and nothing can be changed. Sandy then told me that she is meeting with her director on the 09th of May 2019 and that she would get back to me in the afternoon, my mother then gave her a call to find out what is then truly happening Sandy promised her that she is meeting with her director and that she prepared a presentation for the costs to be covered and that they accept that it is indeed their fault . On the 03rd of May 2019 Sandy sent me a message asking me when she could call me to discuss my feed for my studies I told her she could call me anytime and she said that she would call me in 20 minutes. Sandy sent me an email at 15:33letting me know that she sent my CV to the UK for evaluation and unfortunately I do not qualify to do the diploma course and that I could do 2 Modules in the Advanced Certificate and apply for another bursary next year. She also told me that she would like to come and meet her and Mr Simuka at their offices and she is sorry for the inconvenience that she caused. I then told Sandy that I would come and I would also like to discuss this matter face to face as nothing can be resolved. Sandy then sends me a whatsapp message that She wouldn’t be able to meet with me as her husband and children has surprised her with a mothers day getaway, Mr simuka will be there and he knows nothing about their administration. She then sends me an email that this is the best option that they can offer me and that they are in no option to discount me or offer me a bursary. • I am unable to apply for another bursary for the same course from the information that I have provided at work I am to complete this course in 1 year. • I have app**** for a bursary for a diploma and I am expected to show them a diploma within 1 year and now I am being told that I have to do an Advanced Certificate • I am told that this is the best option for me (what options was I given as They are now telling me what to do), I have not even been made aware of the directors opinion or what she said. These people have just made things worse for me Sandy says that at the time of sending me quotations she was still new and falling into place, So if she didn’t know what she was doing or if she was lost why didn’t she ask for help or refer me to someone who knows what they are doing, because if she sent me the correct information in the !st place we would not be here right now I would’ve submitted the correct details and received the correct amount. This is peoples futures that they are playing with.
