Owner ignoring my calls

Battery Mania Lansdowne... Absolutely SHOCKING service...

The owner installed a new battery in my car at end March. To cut a long story short, my car wouldn't start last Sunday when coming home from a camping weekend near Ceres, and jump starting wouldn't help.

My car had to get towed to VW Worcester. They tested the battery only to find it faulty and completely dead. After struggling to get hold of the owner of Battery Mania on Monday, he eventually agreed to replace the battery, but I was told I had to get my car from Worcester to Cape Town first?!

He promised to get back to me before close of business on Monday as he said he would try to "make a plan". Well, needless to say he has still not called back (its Wednesday today).I have phoned him 6 times and left endless messages.

I had to get VW to put a new battery in to my car and had to arrange a lift to Worcester yesterday...all in all this episode has cost me well over R4000...and the owner of Battery Mania in Lansdowne has still not contacted me.

I would like a refund for the dud battery he installed in my car, since his "replacement" never materialised...

Pity people like this are still in business...and they give the rest of the Battery Mania outlets a bad name...
