**** Batteries Facebook Market Place

I purchased 2x new vision 12v batteries on the 16th January 2023, from a guy by the name of Terrence Gibbon on Facebook Market Place, Port Elizabeth, however the batteries turned out to be duds. I therefore contacted him and raised the alarm that the batteries are not holding their charge on the 09th February 2023, less than a month of ownership. He promised to replace them, but to date he has not replaced the damaged batteries and later smsed that there was only a 1 month warrantee and he won't be replacing the batteries and neither offered a refund. To date he continues to ignore my calls and texts. According to the consumer protection act , a seller is obliged to offer at least a 6 month guarantee.
