Batlotlegi Trading Enterprise

I was employed by Batlotlegi Trading Enterprise in Rustenburg as a Quantity Surveyor, led by the CEO Steve Makhubu.

Firstly, I was getting paid less than half of what my male counterpart was getting, but that's the least of my worries. Secondly, the CEO Steve said to my face that he didn't want me there, and that I am only there because of the other members who were present when I was being interviewed. So, he made it a point to make my life miserable. He gave me work that I was not hired for and even worse my duties and responsibilities were not clearly outlined as I am yet to sign an employment contract to this day.

Thirdly, the work environment was so toxic and draining to a point where I was having sleepless nights. The CEO made it a point that we worked outside of our working hours without being remunerated for overtime, and this was on a daily basis. With all that was happening, we still didn't get paid on the agreed upon pay date, we will be told stories by the CEO Steve. Ever since I worked for the company I haven't on a single day received any sort of income or payment from the company.

Lastly, I was forced to resign from that toxic, horrible, inhumane, selfish environment to keep my peace and sanity. I do not advise any one to work or do any business with that company as all it does is exploit its workforce. I am still awaiting payment for all the work I did for that company, the CEO has nothing concrete to say but just makes excuses.
