Abusing Covid-19 to not pay creditors
The most dishonest business ethics I have yet to come across. I own a small recruitment business whereby we were requested to recruit a sales executive for Dudley Turner the Managing Director. Our candidate started with them in the beginning of February and we were never made aware. Eventually they told us but asked us to drop the fee as well as give them payment terms and split the fee over two tranches as they "couldn't afford it" Which at that point we had no choice but to do it. They eventually paid the 1st tranche and then yesterday sent us an email that they are unable to pay the R25K second tranche due to Covid-19. I find this absolutely disguising that an organisation of that size could use a pandemic like this to not pay small micro enterprise. Thank goodness I have a family member in government whereby I have reported them for a SARS audit and should they have been in a position to pay their creditors. This will be deemed as ***** and businesses will feel the wrath of the law for taking advantage of a crisis to benefit. Dudley I hope you are proud of the value system you run Bathroom Bizarre with and being part of what could sink our country.
