Ramsgate Amazing Service

On the 27th April we were ****** at our holiday house in Ramsgate. Along with bags, ipads, cellphones, ID, drivers licenses etc was my transponder for my Chev Captiva. We contacted KZN Safe Lock and Key who looked all over KZN for a device without any luck. They came to the house in the evening of Thursday 27th April (public holiday)and managed to construct a dummy key in order for us to open the car door. Bates GM in Shelley Beach, Workshop Manager Ashwin Ramdulharie and his team absolutely pulled all strings in order to get my car on the road again. The staff called all over the country looking for a transponder without any luck. They collected my car on a flat bed, took it to the workshop and on Saturday 29th April his team took a second hand transponder from a car in their fleet, programmed it to my car, deactivated the ****** transponder and we had our car back by 10.30am. The service from Bates GM was remarkable and I really want them to know how grateful we are for their help. They kept us informed of progress all along the way. For me this cemented my belief in Chevrolet and when the time comes for a new car this will influence my decision as to what car to buy. The timeframe for importing a new transponder is 4 weeks, Ashwin confirmed that we could keep his transponder until such time as a new device arrives in SA. Thank you team Bates GM and KZN Safe Lock and Key.
